a slice of the Whitney

Part of the Rider Project 2006

 

This image shows my sculpture being moved for transport after sitting for 4 hours in front of the Whitney Museum in New York City.  I got to leave it alone outside and take my first tour through the museum , all the while being able to go to the select few windows in the building and look down on my piece in the street below.  Our permit was through the City of New York, and not through the Whitney, so needless to say, they were not quite expecting us.
