With the help of my good friend Ed Saavedra, I created an homage to Kurt Schwitters Merzbau Studio that was bombed and destroyed in 1943. I used donated paper and old scraps from the now defunct Del Oil Company (Schwitters got the name merzbau from a scrap of paper he found on the ground one day).  The "Delbau" installation was viewable by the public during Luminaria 2011 inside of the old Womens Pavilion Building that was built during Hemisfair 68' in San Antonio, TX.  Viewers were encouraged to walk carefully one at a time into the small makeshift "studio" and take photos or sit quietly.
